What does 3,000°F, 29HG of vacuum, and hydrochloric acid get you? A pretty cool ring, that's what. The etching occurs when the titanium is brought close to it's melting point and starts to break down, just about to melt. the vacuum allows the titanium to freely move without the limitaions of air pressure, compressing and depressing in different parts. After rapidly cooling, the ring takes a relaxing acid bath. The acid dissolves the less dense parts of the titanium, while the more dense parts are left untouched by the acid. This leaves a truly unique design, and different patterns on each ring.
